Golfing for Good: Cedar Valley Twilight Fundraiser

On the memorable date of July 14th, 2023, the 2nd Annual Cedar Valley Twilight Golf Fundraiser unfolded its charitable wings at the prestigious Sunnyside Golf & Country Club in Waterloo, IA.

Enthusiastic teams, among them the spirited Wayne's crew, eagerly teed off with a shared mission: to raise an impressive $44,000 in funds. These funds were earmarked to bolster the "The Leader in Me" program, a vital initiative impacting over 800 students in the Cedar Valley community.

"The Leader in Me" program holds a special place in the hearts of the local youth, serving as a cornerstone for their personal and educational development. Beyond the monetary contributions, our commitment as sponsors extends to active involvement, as we proudly allocate volunteer hours to nurture and sustain this empowering program within our community.

What I've admired most about Leader in Me is not only their mission and vision but also that I can actively see the difference of growth it is making with the kids and in our community. Plus, hey, it's golf! ⛳
